A structured learning path that takes students from zero — knowing their way around a computer — to building and deploying a production-ready, full-stack AI application. Organized into 8 phases and 21 modules: one language at a time, every topic only after its prerequisites, and deployment skills landing right before the deploy-heavy capstone.

Phase 0 — Developer Environment & Version Control

Before writing a single line of application code, students learn the machine they're working on and how to track their work.

Module 1 — Developer Environment Setup

  • Operating system & file system fundamentals — files vs. directories, absolute vs. relative paths
  • The terminal / command line — navigating and manipulating files (cd, ls, mkdir, mv, cp, rm)
  • File permissions basics
  • Environment variables
  • Installing the toolchain — Python, Node.js and VS Code
  • Virtual Environments — isolating project dependencies

Module 2 — Git & GitHub

  • Core version control concepts (repositories, commits, staging, .gitignore)
  • Branching strategies
  • Pull Requests
  • Code Reviews

Phase 1 — Python Core

With the environment ready, students learn their first language end to end.

Module 3 — Python Programming

  • Python Fundamentals
  • Data Structures
  • Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • File Handling
  • Exception Handling
  • Modules & Packages

Module 4 — Advanced Python

  • Iterators & Generators
  • Decorators
  • Context Managers
  • API Integration

Phase 2 — Data Layer

Databases are language-agnostic and needed by every backend that follows, so they're taught before the first backend framework.

Module 5 — Databases: MongoDB & PostgreSQL

  • MongoDB — CRUD Operations, Aggregation Pipelines, Indexing
  • PostgreSQL — SQL, Relationships, Transactions

Phase 3 — Python Backend

Students build real APIs in the language they already know, backed by the databases they just learned.

Module 6 — FastAPI

  • API Development
  • Request Validation
  • Authentication
  • OpenAPI Documentation

Module 7 — Authentication & Security

Taught once, in depth, right after the first backend — every later backend and frontend reuses these concepts.

  • JWT
  • OAuth Concepts
  • Password Hashing
  • API Security Best Practices

Phase 4 — JavaScript & Full-Stack Frontend

A clean switch to the JavaScript world, kept as one continuous block: the language, then the server, then the client that consumes it.

Module 8 — JavaScript & TypeScript

  • ES6+ Features
  • Async Programming (Promises, async/await)
  • TypeScript Fundamentals

Module 9 — Node JS & Express JS

Server-side JavaScript first — it reuses the REST and JWT concepts already learned in the Python backend.

  • REST APIs
  • Middleware
  • JWT Authentication
  • Error Handling
  • File Uploads

Module 10 — React JS

The client comes last, so students build UIs that consume APIs they've already built.

  • Components
  • Hooks
  • Routing
  • Forms
  • API Integration
  • Authentication
  • Styling with Tailwind CSS

Phase 5 — Generative AI Engineering

The AI specialization builds directly on Python and FastAPI, and is served with a React frontend.

Module 11 — Generative AI

  • LLM Fundamentals
  • Prompt Engineering
  • OpenAI API
  • Google Gemini API

Module 12 — LangChain

  • Chains
  • Memory
  • Tools
  • Agents

Module 13 — Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

  • Embeddings
  • Chunking
  • Vector Search
  • Document Q&A

Module 14 — AI Agents

  • Agent Architecture
  • Tool Calling
  • Multi-step Workflows

Module 15 — Model Context Protocol (MCP)

  • MCP Fundamentals
  • Client & Server
  • Tool Integration

Phase 6 — DevOps, Cloud & Deployment

With everything built, students learn to ship it. AWS is taught before CI/CD because the pipeline deploys to AWS.

Module 16 — Docker

  • Images
  • Containers
  • Docker Compose

Module 17 — AWS Cloud

  • IAM
  • EC2
  • S3
  • VPC
  • Application Load Balancer (ALB)
  • Auto Scaling
  • CloudWatch

Module 18 — GitHub Actions — CI/CD

  • CI/CD Pipelines
  • Automated Build
  • Automated Testing
  • Deployment to AWS

Module 19 — Kubernetes

  • Pods
  • Deployments
  • Services
  • ConfigMaps
  • Secrets
  • Ingress

Module 20 — Monitoring & Observability

  • Prometheus
  • Grafana
  • Logging
  • Alerting

Phase 7 — Capstone

Module 21 — Enterprise Capstone Project

  • Build and deploy a production-ready AI application integrating everything learned: React JS, FastAPI, Node JS, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, OpenAI / Gemini, LangChain, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Prometheus & Grafana
